Monday we went to our appointment at the Embassy and got really good news. The kids had been approved for Visas, and we were supposed to pick them up on Wed. Thank you so much for all of your prayers! This was the news we were hoping for. Unfortunately, we found out that there aren’t any flights out of Uganda until Thursday. The Thursday flight has 3 plane changes and flies all night, so we decided to just keep our flight on Friday. It is only two flights, flies during the daytime, and gives us an overnight in London to recoup. There is actually a Hilton in the terminal, so won’t even have to leave the airport. For our sanity’s sake, we decided this was a better option.
Again, the Lord had us covered because I have been really sick. I have been SO careful with what I have eaten, but somehow I still got sick. I went to the clinic here, and after doing blood work, they told me I have a severe bacterial infection. Unfortunately, they just told me to keep taking what I was already taking. So far it hasn’t helped, but I am hoping it will start soon. I would really appreciate it if you would pray that I am better by Friday, so I am not sick for the 32 hour trip back home. I’m pretty sure traveling with two babies is going to be hard enough as a healthy person. 😉
We are scheduled to arrive at D/FW Airport at 3:30 pm on Saturday. We are so excited to get home!
I am so sorry you are sick 🙁 I am praying for you!
Please take care of yourself. Moms are not aloud to get sick! Have a safe and healthy trip home!
so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. it is awful to not feel well with all that is happening and being in an unfamiliar place is not helpful. praying for you and your family and traveling mercies;)
