I know these are some questions you are wondering, so I thought I’d post a few random facts for you.
As of last week, Henry is 13 months and Hope is 9 months.
Henry is really heavy and dense. It really caught Jeff and I off guard. 🙂
Henry can crawl and stand if he’s holding on to something. Hope can stand and hold up her weight if help her balance. She can also sit by herself.
Henry has a ton of teeth including one molar and has 4 others half way through. He has a serious overbite, but it’s cute. 🙂 Hope doesn’t have any teeth in yet, but I noticed several that are about to break through.
Neither of them have any words that I’ve noticed, but they are both making repetitive sounds (ba ba ba ba).
Henry seems to be really social and Hope is still pretty quiet. I did see her playing at the end of the day with her mama at the babies home and she was laughing with her, so I may not have seen her true personality yet.
They both seem to be in good health except they both have a rattly cough. Also, Hope has diaper rash like I have never seen before. I’m going to do some Googling to see if that’s really what it is.
They will have to stay at the babies home until we have our written ruling, which will be on the 28th. We will go hang out with them everyday, but they will have to sleep there until then
They are both wonderful, and we are so grateful to be here with them!
I've been thinking of you nonstop and am so excited for updates and pics. Thank you for posting! We continue to pray!
Yes, thank you for the postings! I know these next 2 weeks will be rough, but you'll get through them!
Cannot wait to meet your new babies!! Praying for you all. Please let me know if you want your kids to come over and play while ya'll are gone…
Praying! When you get them away from the babies home, email us their symptoms and maybe give them that antibiotic. Owen had that rattly cough too and he cleared right on up. I would def google the diaper rash too. You are such a smart Mommy!!!
Hello Jessica and Jeff, I am so impressed with your generosity in this process. The children are adorable. I am sure in time they will bond with your family and it will seem like they were always there. Don't worry one minute about that. I am sure the kids are loving being with your parents. you are fortunate that they live close. Take care, stay safe and enjoy getting to know Henry and Hope!
Finalloy got to get online. Terrible wind storm here had me offline for a while. Made the grandmother exchange late afternoon. Went well. Love the pictures. Cannot wait to hold them.
