That’s right. One week from tomorrow we will be leaving for Uganda. It’s so crazy to me, I can hardly believe it! I mean it’s pretty surreal. Tonight I’m sitting on the coach with my kiddos tucked away in the other room. Next week I’ll be on the other side of the world, meeting my new children. Crazy!

I feel like I have a gazillion things to do, but I’m hoping that’s not actually true. Tonight we hung out with our sweet friends the Willis family who adopted their son from Uganda. They gave us some awesome advice and also some great medical info. I’m so excited that the Lord brought our families together, and that Hope and Henry will have a friend from their home country.

I don’t have a ton to write tonight, but plan to use this blog to share pictures and updates while we’re in Uganda. Several people have asked me how they can specifically pray for us, so I’m adding a prayer request page to the blog. Thanks for checking in!
