Chicago, that is, for those of you unfamiliar with modern day slang. 🙂

I took the girls (with the help of my sweet mother) to Chicago for my nephew Drew’s 1st birthday party. It was a costume party with a pirate theme. Maya had a blast hanging out with her cousins Rik and Drew. The bounce house left a huge impression on her. The morning after the party, the first thing she said to me when she woke up was, “Bounce house, mommy? Want to bounce!”

My oldest brother John is the tall pirate standing with my sister-in-law Jen.
