~ Tonight my parents and sister Ashlee came over for a farewell dinner because she is leaving tomorrow to follow the Lord’s call to missions. It was a bittersweet time for us all. While I am always happy to see the people I love following the Lord closely, I prefer that they follow Him while remaining in the Metroplex. Apparently, that isn’t a stipulation one can require of the Lord.
~ Ashlee is truly a special woman, and it is no surprise that the Lord has grand plans for her. She has the sweetest spirit of anyone you will ever meet and the most grace-filled heart! Ash is leaving tomorrow for the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base in Hawai. There she will have three months of training and then will head out for an outreach. She will be assigned to either Nepal, Indonesia or Bangladesh. I have no clue where those places are, but will be researching them soon. 🙂 She will be at her outreach for another three months. Please remember to pray for her as she spreads the Gospel and furthers the Kingdom for Christ.
