Living in Uganda, we have experienced some really interesting things, so I thought I would share some with you.
There are signs that posted everywhere. Jeff and I laugh about them, every time we see them. These are just a few.

Apparently, I should be all the rage here in Uganda. ๐ I thought it was interesting that in America, you see just the opposite – ads for weight loss.

I thought the correlation here was interesting. It’s probably similar in the US, but not so blatant. ๐

In case you’re wondering, this equals about $10 US. ๐
There are also a plethora of bats. That’s right. BATS. Flying mice. Except they are huge. We were walking in a residential are, and these caught my eye. It was the middle of the day, and I thought they were gigantic cocoons, so I moved in for a closer look.

Do you see them?

Ick!
These are just some pics of Main Street in Jinja. Thought it would be fun to show you our new stomping ground. ๐

And just for you, Jane. Here are some boda bodas. They are motorbike taxis. ๐

Thank you! I had no idea what a boda boda was. I hope you continue making progress in the adoption process. We love reading your words. Take care, Love, Jane
yuck, the bats. the large tree on the corner of Bell and the street Ebenezer is on. (the one the sell jackfruit at) is it full of bats? when we were there is was totally full of bats every day until early march and then we noticed they were gone. There must have been a thousand.
